Recuero (Santiago Sosa) is an artist that surfs from the sounds of deep, indie progressive and melodic house.
His presentations are characterized by containing a Deep Indie Melodic sound, manifesting a groove with the solidity of the indie drums and with the melodic depth that characterizes both his sets and productions.
He is currently signed to labels such as The purr: Cafune White (Original Mix) / Natura Viva: Luces de Marfil (Original Mix) / Bekool: Utopia (Original Mix) and more productions and remixes are coming.
His sets were played in the main booths of Uruguay such as Plaza Mateo, Ovo Beach, Lotus, Monroe, Lola, Living, Piedra Lisa among others sharing booth with D-Nox, Zac, Marcelo Vasami among others.

Unveiling the Creative Process Behind Recuero’s “Amanecer”
In the exhilarating world of music production, the journey from inspiration to creation is where the magic happens. Join me on an exclusive backstage tour to explore the intricate path of composing, editing, mixing, and mastering the latest album released by Future Avenue of the talented DJ and Music Producer from Uruguay Recuero: “Amanecer.” What makes this even more exciting is that every step of this creative journey was accomplished remotely through Zoom.
The inception of “Amanecer” began with a sonic adventure into the electronic realm. Collaborating with Recuero, we delved deep into synthesizers like the Novation Bass Station 2, the dynamic drum machine Roland TR-8, and the versatile virtual synthesizers from Arturia, including Hive and Diva. These electronic elements fused seamlessly with inspired melodies, even though there were miles between us.
The editing phase was a crucial chapter in the story. It was here that every nuance and sonic element underwent meticulous scrutiny. Thanks to our remote collaboration, the feedback loop was fluid, allowing us to fine-tune and perfect every sonic detail, creating an immersive auditory experience.
The mixing process is where the artistry truly shines. Here, every instrument and vocal found its place in the sonic tapestry. Achieving this level of finesse was made possible through a combination of precise depth, panorama adjustments, and equalization. The secret sauce, however, lay in the deployment of plugins. We harnessed the power of Waves, Arturia FX Collection 4, and Soundtoys plugins to add that extra layer of magic to each track, creating a unique and captivating presence.
The mastering stage is the final touch that makes an album shine. This is where we meticulously fine-tuned each track to ensure cohesiveness and appeal across the entire album. Waves, Arturia FX Collection 4, and Soundtoys plugins played an integral role in achieving the desired tonal balance. The ultimate goal was to ensure that “Amanecer” delivered exceptional sound quality, with tracks flowing seamlessly from one to the next, maintaining consistent volume levels and tonal excellence.
The excitement doesn’t stop here; we’re delighted to share that we’re already working on new releases set to dazzle your ears in the near future. Additionally, we’re preparing unreleased gems for Recuero’s upcoming performances in Uruguay and Argentina.
