IVAN SANDHAS
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, an eclectic and diverse city responsible for all the different sounds that are characteristic of his electronic music work as an establishing International Producer and DJ. Although already considered a master of his craft by many in areas of Progressive, Deep, and House along with strong elements of Techno he continues on an ever evolving journey of creating his own unique sound. At first listen you can hear his unique and specific contribution to the already solid foundations of groovy percussions and strong baselines. What sets him apart by many is his ability to create aural stories in different atmospheres with darker undertones, and his signature striking melodies easily captures any dance floor.
A devoted lover off all types of music since an early age, his specific interest in electronic music dates back to his early teens when he was 15 years old listening to house music and techno. Ever since then influenced by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Laurent Garnier, Tale of Us, Recondite and many others in different genres helped him develop his own sound. While studying music production and engineering in Argentina early in his musical career he captured the attention of Hernan Paredes and Emiliano Folgar (WAYWORK) of the world renowned dance music duo Interaxxis who would later cosign his work into various projects and record labels around the world.

NOW & THEN / EMERGING LIGHT / FOREVER
Crafting Sonic Dreams with Ivan Sandhas: A Journey through “Now & Then,” “Emerging Light,” and “Forever”
I’m excited to share our adventure in crafting “Now & Then” for the album “Purple Skies” under House Music With Love, “Emerging Light” released on Cafe De Anatolia, and “Forever” on Be Adult Music with the incredibly talented DJ and Music Producer from Argentina, based in Berlin, Ivan Sandhas. This creative journey took us through Berlin’s vibrant music scene, my music studio in Ludwigsburg, and even remote sessions via Zoom. Here’s a glimpse into the making of these extraordinary tracks.
Our creative voyage began in the heart of Berlin, where we crafted the core elements of these 3 songs. Together, we explored the depths of hardware and software synthesizers. The Korg Minilogue xd and Yamaha Reface DX added layers of intrigue to our sonic canvas, while the Moog Minitaur infused the track with analog warmth.
Despite the geographical distance, our musical synergy remained unwavering. We synchronized our creativity through Zoom sessions. These virtual sessions allowed us to fine-tune the nuances and add a unique electronic signature to “Now & Then”, “Emerging Light” and “Forever.”
For the rhythm section, we embarked on a quest for the perfect beat. We meticulously handpicked high-quality organic samples and textures that were seamlessly layered with the unmistakable sounds of the Roland TR-8S. The result was a rhythmic tapestry that breathed life into every track.
The mixing and mastering stage is where the magic truly happens. We revisited our tracks, carefully balancing every element to perfection. The songs were fine-tuned to ensure they had the desired cohesiveness and appeal.
The creative journey with Ivan Sandhas is far from over. We’re in the midst of crafting more sonic gems that are set to captivate your ears in the near future. This is only the beginning of our shared musical exploration in the vibrant world of electronic music.
BOND OF TRUST
A Global Collaboration: Ivan Sandhas & Kike Roldan’s “Bond Of Trust” EP Mastered by Christ Malvin
Working with Ivan Sandhas and Kike Roldan on their latest EP, released by Café De Anatolia, has been an incredible journey of remote collaboration. The EP features two standout tracks—“Bond Of Trust” and “Fruch Der Liebe”—crafted with care and attention to detail from opposite sides of the globe. Ivan and Kike composed, edited, and pre-mixed the tracks remotely, connecting Miami and Sydney via Zoom, before handing them off to Christ Malvin for final mastering. The result is an EP that beautifully combines lush melodies with tight, groovy beats.
Despite being separated by thousands of miles, Ivan and Kike’s creative synergy was undeniable. They composed and edited the tracks remotely, using Zoom as their virtual studio. The digital world allowed us to share ideas instantly, shaping the tracks in real-time while exploring a rich sonic palette. Both tracks—“Bond Of Trust” and “Fruch Der Liebe”—were built using software synthesizers like Arturia V Collection X and Wavetable, which gave us the flexibility to craft unique textures and melodies that define the EP’s signature sound.
Once Ivan and Kike had laid down the pre-mixes, the final step was sending the EP to Christ Malvin for mastering.
For the mastering process, Christ used Arturia’s iconic emulations of classic hardware to add depth and texture, while Waves plugins brought out the fine details, ensuring the mix was balanced and dynamic across different systems. SoundToys plugins added the final touch of warmth and saturation, making the tracks feel cohesive while maintaining their organic, emotional core.
With more projects on the horizon, we’re excited to continue pushing the boundaries of electronic music production. Stay tuned for more releases that blend the best of remote collaboration and top-tier mastering for a sound that truly stands out.
